This first recipe is from Gabriel Cousens book “Rainbow green, live food cuisine”. Roar! Superfoods have modified it slightly..and think this is the best light and satisfying soup ever!

Zen Gazpacho


  • 5 ripe roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
  • A dash of cumin
  • White pepper and celtic sea salt to taste
  • 2 Avocados, cubed
  • 4 lebanese cucumbers, cubed
  • 1 bunch of coriander, chopped
  • A handful of mint, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp fresh lime juice

To put together
Blend tomatoes, olive oil, jalapenos, avocados and spices
Mix in mint and cilantro Chill
Add lime juice before serving

Simple Raw Pasta Sauce


  • 3 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 stick of celery
  • 1/2 an avocado
  • 2 Tbsp dried tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp dulse flakes
  • 1 fresh pitted date
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp tamari
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil


Roughly chop the vegetables.

Put all ingredients in the blender.

Blend well.


We generally serve it on a bed of “courgetti” (spiralised zucchini)
